Whenever any legend leaves this world and go to another world, close the eyes of his/her of life, whole nation became sad. Because nation loss the its icons. On 19 Feb a leading Urdu story writer Akhtar Jamal closed chapter of her life and gone to another world. She was a tremendous Urdu story writer and wrote lots of eminent books. Unglian Figar Apni, Zard Patoon ka Ban, Khalai daour ki Mohabat and Samjhota Express” are her well-known Urdu books.  She was in Canada when she died. May ALLAH rest her soul in peace.
She was from the list of those great writers having strong political believes who did not sell out their noble aims for the good jobs and for any materialistic greed. They just focused on their aims and truly fulfilled their intellectual’s duties and delivered a true massage to society. She faced lots of adversities due to her literary work, but she did not put down her pen and wrote what she was feeling the pain and injustice with the Pakistan nation and humanity. In the period of general Zia-ul-Haq he hijacked all the intellectuals and writers who were writing on the political issues and against the dictatorship of government. She also hijacked in that case, but did not stop her honest duty.
Madam Akhtar jamal’s husband name was ashen Ali khan. He was also an immense poet. He also had to face the diversities by the government to stop wettings against the government, but he did not bow down and encouraged her wife too.
