The Contamination of Urdu Language

Urdu is the national language of Pakistan. it is most widely used in Asia subcontinent. But unfortunately due to some reasons Urdu language is in decline these days. As Urdu speakers and native of Pakistan, We are trying to explore the basic reasons that why Urdu language is in decline and we are also providing the solutions for the revival of Urdu language.

These are the main reasons for the Urdu language contamination

  •        Urdu a national language but losing its status
Urdu language is declared as a national language of Pakistan at the time of partition .but unfortunately people are running away from this language .as a national language Urdu could not get the importance as it should be the reason is that in Pakistan different people speak different language and they are trying to make compulsory heir regional languages from the school levels as baluchi people declared passed a bill that their baluchi language will be compulsory on  the school level. When Urdu is a national language we should make Urdu compulsory from the school level.

  •         Consider Urdu as a religious language
Urdu speakers consider Urdu as a religious language it is mostly close to the religion. any language must have an harmonium sound and international touch. Urdu language has lacked this fact.
·         Influence of Bollywood's media on Urdu language
Indians films are very popular in all over the world. These movies are using the mixture of Hindi and Urdu language. people pick these mixed phrases ,it has bad effect on Urdu language .and most of the time they are using pathetic pronunciation that’s why Urdu language is distorting.

  •         Old generation is not properly transferring the national language
Old people and parents are not seriously transferring the Urdu to their children’s. They can speak Urdu very well but they like to speak English they like that their children’s should speak English language so that they will called modernized.
·
  • Lack of promoting the Urdu language in by schools
Schools are the basic unit of promoting the national language but unfortunately our teachers are not promoting Urdu properly. They don’t speak complete Urdu sentences. Mostly they speak English

Finally the solution is that we should take it seriously to promote the Urdu language as it’s the symbol of nations. If we will not save Urdu recognition, we will vanish from the history.
