Allama Iqbal - Legendary and Far-Famed Urdu poet

Urdu language has a huge history of far-famed poets, but a legendary and quite long-famed Urdu poet none other than Allama Iqbal .Iqbal as a most tremendous and terrific Urdu poet fulfilled his errands very sufficiently. He did great work in three dimensions: as a well-known poetic writing, his work for the establishment of a separate Islamic state for the Muslims of Asia, and as a social reformer. In a meeting of Muslim league in1930 Allama Iqbal suggested a need for a separate Islamic nation where they could accomplish their Islamic duties freely.

Most of the Iqbal work conveys the religious messages. He gave the idea of separate homeland for the protection of Islamic sense and spirituality. However he did lots of work for the reforms of society and whole world. He emphasized on the vision of brotherhood and truthfulness and to revoke soul. His remarkable and incredible work was the 'The Song of Eternity’, which he wrote in 1932.

His religious and unforgettable piece of work in Urdu was “shikwa” and “jawab-e-shikwa”. In which he delivered a great message to the people that we just complain for the things which we did not get in our life, but we do not care about our acts which we are doing and we do not care about our duties of life assigned by ALLAH.
Allama Iqbal did poetic work in Persian also. He did great work for the Muslims self-interest in "Talu-e-Islam".
To read and understand Iqbal’s work is very interesting and easy because he clearly described his point of view, though some of his work need a complete life span to understand his great ideas and philosophy. He also wrote on other factors of life. As a well-known Urdu poet he did an outstanding work.
