For the first time Ahmed Bashir initiated feature writing in Urdu press and he hired as a sub editor. He also did lots of work as a film director. Ahmed Bashir was also a portrait writer. He made pen sketches of most famous Urdu writers in his book “jo milay thay Rastay main”. As a film director he made a film “Neela Perbat’. He was director and producer of this feature film.
